Summer Soil Builder does an excellent job of scavenging nutrients that will become readily available to the fall crop once the plant matter decays. This will increase soil organic matter for better soil health and water infiltration. Can grow in a variety of soil types and Ph. The rapid growth of buckwheat and oats will smother any weed competition, and the berseem clover and hairy vetch fix nitrogen. Ideal carbon to nitrogen ratio for feeding soil biology.

Planting Time: 45 - 60 days before fall planting, in WI usually that's in June. As you move furhter south that date will get pushed more toward July.
